Thermal burn

Biomedis Trinity program · Изгаряне термично · Термический ожог

A thermal burn is caused by contact with hot liquid, steam, fire or a hot object. Depending on its depth, the skin reddens, blisters form, or deeper layers are damaged as well. The “Thermal burn” complex is intended to support the skin and the body during recovery after a burn — once the necessary first aid has been given.

First come the specific programs for burn injury and burn blisters and the basic pain and inflammation program. These are followed by skin regeneration and regulation, regeneration and recovery, cell regeneration, healing, general inflammation, cell frequencies and cellular turnover. The complex also includes circulation regulation, the immune system, the kidneys and a general antiseptic, and it ends with cleansing of the lymph and blood and a deep cleansing of the organism.

With a burn the whole body reacts: damaged tissue releases breakdown products, and an open wound is a gateway for infection. That is why the antiseptic, immune system and cleansing are part of the complex, not just the skin. In the holistic view regeneration happens on many levels, from the cell to the circulation. For burns caused by the sun, see the “Sunburn, sunstroke” complex.
