Vertigo is the sensation that everything around you is spinning, or that you yourself are, often with nausea, unsteady walking and the urge to hold on to something. The cause may lie in the inner ear, in the neck and the vessels that supply the brain, in a drop in blood pressure or in the nervous system itself.
