Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the thin transparent membrane that covers the white of the eye and lines the inside of the eyelids. The eye turns red, waters and stings, and sometimes a discharge glues the lids together in the morning. Viruses, bacteria, fungi, allergies or simple irritation can all be behind it. The “Conjunctivitis” complex is intended to support you when the eyes are inflamed, especially when the cause is infectious or still unclear.

It opens with “Active protection” and the conjunctivitis programs — infectious and of unclear origin — followed by frequencies for general inflammation and mucous membrane inflammation and by the eye programs. Then comes a large block aimed at possible pathogens: bacteria, staphylococci, haemolytic streptococcus, pneumococcus, gonorrhoea, chlamydia (including Chlamydia trachomatis), diphtheria, adenovirus, herpes, fungi, mould and candida.

Rife believed that every microorganism has a frequency of its own, which is why the complex does not bet on a single culprit but covers a wide range. In the holistic view an infection burdens the whole body, so the closing section is about cleansing — lymph and intercellular space, blood and plasma, kidneys, liver and a dedicated detox for acute infection. When the red eyes come together with a runny nose and cough, the “Cold, running nose, cough, fever” complex is also worth considering.
